Aim and Scope
The scientific journal Respectus Philologicus is an international bi-annual publication of scholarly papers founded and published by Kaunas Faculty, Vilnius University (Lithuania), and issued in co-operation with the partner-university Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Faculty of Humanities (Poland).
Respectus Philologicus is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the following humanitarian research fields:
issues of literary narratives and contexts,
influence of advertising discourse,
theory and practice of translation.
Respectus Philologicus publishes original scholarly articles, reviews, overviews, and discussions of philological research in English, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian languages (with titles, summaries and keywords in English).
As the scientific journal is multidisciplinary with linguistics integrating different disciplines, it promotes cooperation between scholars both in Lithuania and abroad who are interested in different facets of language. Consequently, the journal is of great significance not only on a regional level, but also worldwide.
Consequently, the scientific journal mainly concentrates on cognitive analysis of discourses (fiction, political, scientific, etc.), cognitive strategies of translation, rhetorical problems of communication, semiotic analysis of text, and the analysis of political, social and cultural phenomena in different social environments.
