Articles submitted to the journal should be authentic and original contributions and should have never been published before in full text or partially, nor be under consideration for any other publication at the same time.

The author signs a license agreement with Vilnius University. The form of the license agreement was approved by the order of the Rector of Vilnius University in June 27 2007  (No. 227). License Agreement

Copyright on any open access article in a journal is retained by the author(s). Authors (LICENSEE) submitting articles for publication warrant that the work is not an infringement of any existing copyright and will indemnify the publisher against any breach of such warranty. For ease of dissemination and to ensure proper policing of use, papers and contributions become the legal copyright of the publisher (LICENSOR) unless otherwise agreed. 

The LICENSOR grants the LICENSEE the following property rights to the ARTICLE:
to publish the ARTICLE in the research magazine of Vilnius University Respectus Philologicus;
to distribute copies of the issue of the magazine containing the ARTICLE;
to publish the ARTICLE in databases. This right includes the LICENSEE‘s right to make the data of the ARTICLE (metadata, content, summary, annotation) public in the intranet and the LICENSEE’s database portals, accessible through different search engines.

The licence shall be effective on the territory of any State during the entire period of validity of the property rights as prescribed by law; during the first three years of validity the licence shall be exclusive, while during the remaining period of validity it shall be non-exclusive. The LICENSEE shall be entitled to transfer the property rights or sub-licence part thereof to database developers or other holders of the rights to databases.

The LICENSOR shall be entitled to one free copy (a copy to each co-author) of the research magazine containing the article to be obtained from the LICENSEE. 

Respectus Philologicus grants the right to unrestricted use of published articles exclusively for non-commercial purposes, specifying the author and original source (CC BY-NC 4.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/).

The periodical is published twice a year:  April 25 and October 25.

 

Submissions for the autumn issue are accepted until June 1, 

and for the spring issue until December 1.
